What is a Guardian Dog Family ?

At Kooroora Bay Groodles, all our dogs live as part of our family, taking part in outings and activities. In an effort for us to expand our breeding program, to breed and train dogs without raising any in a kennel environment, we offer dogs in a Guardian Dog Family Breeding Program so we can place pups initially with their life family members.

Groodles are bred to be family companions and love human company and we bred our pups to become family pets and companions and so believe they should be raised in the home as a full family member and their parents should also live the same life.

A “Guardian Family” is one who is given the special opportunity and responsibility of nurturing and loving one of our future breeding dogs as their forever dog. It allows us to continue what we love, develop our breeding further and continue to offer high quality pups where we will retain breeding rights for a small number of litters, whilst still ensuring the pup/dog receive all the love and affection they deserve from an individual Forever Family.

Guardian dogs are under a strict legally binding contract. They are offered to approved homes via an application and interview process.

NOTE: There is NO option if change of mind occurs once the contract is signed, nor can the dog be purchased, as the pup has been specifically chosen for breeding. An alternate pup may be offered for sale at normal Market Price if this were to occur.
